LEVELS:
Each class fits naturally with the time of the day that it is offered. Morning classes are dynamic and energizing; late afternoon/early evening classes begin with dynamic movement to engage the body and mind and release the residue of the day, ending with more quiet postures and breathing practices; the later evening classes are slow and deep they ease the transition from the busyness of daily life to a more inward focus.
Level 1: Provides a safe environment for beginning students to build the foundation for a healthy, balanced yoga practice or who simply have beginners mind. Includes yoga postures, breathing practices and mindfulness.
Level 1-3: Appropriate for beginning to advanced students, variations and modifications of practices are given so that each student can work at her/his own level, with the encouragement to play at your own edge.
Level 2-3: These classes build strength and stamina with emphasis on integrating the foundations into more challenging sequences. Includes more in-depth pranayama practices and meditation.
